Illinois Uber driver imprisoned for abusing passenger to face trial after allegedly trying to 'silence' victim

An Illinois former Uber driver who was sentenced Friday to five years in prison for sexually abusing a passenger will stand trial this week on charges that he also tried to hire someone to “hurt or silence” the victim, according to a report.
