Sharp lifts annual profit outlook, to retire some preferred shares

Sharp Corp nudged its full-year profit outlook higher on Tuesday amid a turnaround under the ownership of Taiwanese contract manufacturer Foxconn, and said it plans to retire some preferred shares.
